A beautiful example of the finest early American watchmaking. Heavy, solid 14kt gold, triple cover, hunting style, hand engraved case that reveals a spectacular rare Hamilton Grade 927 movement with 17 gold encased jewels, held by set of 2 screws to the plate each, fine Damasking on plates, and unique regulating system.

17 jewels. American Mechanical Wind-up. Beautifully decorated with fine Damasking. Gold jewel settings. Unique double regulator. Rare Hamilton Cal. 927.

Hand engraved front cover, back back cover and beaded side.
