Tribute to Robert Muhle manufacturing line goes back to Glashütte's fine craftsman tradition – back to the days when Muhle family produced speedometers, car clocks and measuring instruments for the local watchmaking industry. This legacy is expressed, for example, by the screw-in gold chatons in the Robert Mühle calibers, the rare three-fifths plate that enhances the movement mechanism, wood pecker regulator and so on...
Small Seconds platform. Power Reserve hand indicator. 56-hr power reserve with up/down display.
The name of the up/down display comes from the labels at the two ends of the 300° scale, with “up” ("auf") indicating that the movement is fully wound and “down” ("ab") informing wearers that the movement has fully run down. When being wound, the small hand moves in the appropriate direction "up" ("auf"), whereas it moves in the direction of "down" ("Ab") when the watch is running down. The up/down display features a retrograde mechanism containing 25 components and is mounted as an independent module on the plate of the movement containing the dial.
