"The dial is the only one that I know of that has the entire military
phonetic alphabet printed on it. All of the rest of the scales and
conversions were drawn from my experience travelling. Converting Celsius
to Fahrenheit, Kilometers to Miles,and then the problem of keeping
track of time different places in the world. All of the cities on the
dial are places that I regularly visit or used to visit on a frequent
basis because of my military travels. Knowing what time it is halfway
around the world can be a matter of life and death. I made the hour a
bright red/orange so that it would be visible in low light. The dial
just lights up in the dark and is very easy to read for over fourteen
hours thanks to the SuperLuminova that is used to paint the numerals and
the hands. This is the type of watch I always wished existed and now I
am very excited that I finally made that dream come true".
