Wind the crown and, through the flat sapphire caseback, a penguin automaton comes to life, animated by the winding motion itself through a cam system integrated into the modified Soprod P054 movement. Stop winding and it stops. The penguin emblem, patented by Nivada Grenchen in 1965, is redrawn here from the archival patent.
