Frédérique Constant is an independent family owned watch manufacturer based in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva was established in its current form in 1988. Aletta Bax and Peter Stas launched their first collection in 1992, comprising six models fitted with Swiss movements and assembled by a watchmaker in Geneva. Today, company is involved in all stages of watch manufacturing, from initial design to final assembly and quality control, but became famous, when in 1994, Frédérique Constant developed its first Heart Beat watch. Heart Beat feature was visible through an aperture at the position of the balance wheel and demonstrating Frédérique Constant mechanical movements. Today, "Live with passion" motto is carried over throughout all of the Swiss made Frederique Constant mechanical watch collections with the "Heart Beat" dial feature. You may visit the factory here
