Hamilton introduced the Cross Country in 1956. The early models had the Illinois Movements (Hamilton bought the Illinois Watch Company) and was marketed to business travelers. Times can be read in each time zone simultaneously making it unnecessary to change the time when a time zone is crossed. The hour hand on this example is set to the Eastern Time Zone, but can be moved to any time zone requested (the hand must be removed, and re-positioned). If the purchaser of this fine watch would like the hour hand moved to a different time zone, this can be done before shipping. P,M,C,E and G(Greenwich) time zones marked.
