As one of the Grandmaster of all Swiss watch brands, this one goes back to 1839, when two Polish immigrants, Antoni Patek and Franciszek Czapek founded "Patek, Czapek & Cie". Later, French watchmaker Adrien Philippe joined the firm and new name became "Patek Philippe & Co". This 17 jewel manual wind model from the 1940`s, has exactly this name stamped on the inside of the stainless steel caseback.

17 jewels. Swiss Mechanical Wind-up ( Manually wound ). Patek Philippe, Geneve # 911991.

Case:

Combination satin/polished finish. Solid Stainless steel.

Crystal:

Mineral glass. Curved profile.

Dial:

Silver Satin color. Applied polished Silver color markers. Roman applied numerals. Dial shows signs of graceful aging, but is all factory original.

Hands:

Steel color. Index style.

Case Back:

Solid Stainless steel. Snap-on style ( press fit ). 3 letters engraved on the outside.

Genuine Lizard leather.
